Anemopsis californica, or Yerba Mansa, is a perennial, ground covering forb that spreads via stolons. This lovely medicinal plant is known to grow in cienegas and meadows between 1000-6000 ft where the soil is wet and often alkaline. It’s showy and erect white flowers with conical centers bloom between April-October. The plant goes dormant in the winter and produces new growth in the spring. Plant in full sun to partial shade where water can pool to support a dense ground cover. No shipping.
