Aloysia wrightii, or Wright’s Beebrush, is an aromatic and delicately branched shrub, found on gravelly slopes in canyons 1,500-6,000 ft. Aloysia wrightii was often substituted for oregano and has been used medicinally as well as for making excellent honey, hence the name “beebrush!” A medium size shrub 4ft wide and tall and grows in full sun to part shade, flowering in August through October.
