Scarlet Cinquefoil, or Potentilla thurberi, is a low growing perennial forb that is found in moist soils along streams and in forests and meadows between 5,000-9,000 ft elevation. This plant has palmate leaves reminiscent of strawberry leaves and deep red flowers with rounded petals and darks spots near the center. It blooms July-September. Plant in partial to full shade with medium to high water. No shipping.
