Think a grassland is just grass? Think again! ​This mix represents the unique Madrean grasslands that weave through and connect the Sky Island mountain ranges of the Madrean Archipelago containing a lush mix of native grasses, flowering shrubs, dramatic stalk-flowering succulents and low-growing forbs and wildflowers.
 
Seed mix includes 15 species of native grasses (see Sonoita Creek Grass Seed Mix), plus Slender goldenweed, Camphorweed, Sonoran Globe Amaranth, Oakleaf Datura, Antelope Horn Milkweed, Common Sunflower, Thurber's Desert Peony, Tansyaster, Long-Leaf False Goldeneye, Coyote Gourds, Palmer's Agave,  Soaptree Yucca, and Sotol. *Species composition subject to change.
 
Seed packets contain 0.5oz of seed mix each , which will cover an area of about 70 square feet at a seeding rate of 20lbs per acre. We recommend concentrating seed into mulched beds or basins, and combining seeding with rainwater harvesting techniques.
