Heliomeris longifolia, or Longleaf False Goldeneye, is a fall blooming annual wildflower, showing itself October-December after late-season monsoon rains. It grows to be 0.5-2.5 ft tall somewhat bushy, and is found on slopes, plains, in washes. It can really put on a show and reseeds readily! Appropriate for elevations over 3000 ft, best in grassland habitats.
