Thelesperma megapotamicum, or Hopi Tea, is a slender-stemmed perennial with yellow disc florets that grows to be 1-2.5 ft tall. It is often found in disturbed soils in a variety of different habitats including desert scrubland, woodland, roadsides, and grassy plains. Thelesperma grows between 1000-9500 ft in elevation and blooms between April and October. The flowers and stems may be dried and used as a tea. Plant in full sun.
