Ageratina herbacea, or Fragrant Snakeroot, is a native perennial forb, found in rocky areas along streams, slopes, ridges, and washes, in open pine forests and juniper woodlands, from 5,000-9,000 ft. Ageratina used to be in the genus Eupatorium, and is an excellent nectar plant for butterflies and many other pollinator species. A medium size forb up to 2.5ft wide and tall and grows in full sun to full shade, flowering in August through October. No shipping.
