Dalea leporina, or Foxtail Prairie Clover, is an annual wildflower in the Fabaceae family that grows to be up to 4 ft tall and is found along roadsides and in grazed fields and other disturbed areas in grassland habitats at 4,000-7,500 ft. The plant has compound, pinnate leaves and cylindrical spikes of small white to purple flowers that bloom July-September. Reseeds readily.
