Amorpha fruticosa, or False-Indigo Bush, is a branching shrub that can grow to 10 ft in height. It produces many spikes with many deep purple flowers, the color of which gives it it's name. It is a great drought tolerant plant that needs a medium amount of water to thrive and likes well-draining soil. Found in part shade or full sun at 2000-6000 ft.
