Lobelia cardinalis, or Cardinal Flower, is a perennial wildflower that is pollinated by hummingbirds, butterflies, and native bees. It has a basal rosette from which a flowering stalk up to 3 ft tall emerges with many tubular, red flowers when it blooms between June-October. The Cardinal Flower is found in woodland and riparian habitats in moist soils, often along streams, between 3000-7500 ft. Plant in partial shade to full sun where water can collect. No shipping.
