Fallugia paradoxa, or Apache Plume, is a native shrub in the rose family found in grassland and woodland habitats. It thrives in full sun between 3500-7500 ft. It grows to 5 ft tall with white flowers that attract native bees and turn into interesting seed heads with feather-like plumage. It is a great drought tolerant plant flowering April-October.

24 hour water soak followed by 30 day cold stratification before sowing. Sow after last frost. We recommend sowing in pots to transplant when plants are large enough.

Alternatively, this can be done in a garden bed by sowing between late September-early December and watering in very deeply, then irrigating regularly through march to provide the equivalent of about an inch of rainfall per month.
