Community Pre-Order Delivery Days
Shop our plants and seeds online and note the location and date of pick up at checkout. We will bring your plants and seeds to the location during the hours noted.

Join us for an informative class to learn about all things related to running and managing a native plant nursery such as propagating native plants from both seeds and cuttings, seed and plant sourcing, plant lists, dormancy, mechanical scarification, temperature stratification, transplanting, pot sizes for retail vs. restoration needs, irrigation, soil type, timelines, and more. The nursery will also be open for shopping.

Native Seed Collection Workshop

Join us Saturday, October 5 for a tour of the Borderlands Nursery & Seed Seed Lab to learn about our operations and programs, then head out to the beautiful San Rafael Valley to learn about native grasses and our ethical seed collection protocols.
Participants will help collect seeds that will be used in a local ecological restoration project to mitigate erosion and revegetate the landscape to support healthy habitats.
​
Participants should bring water and snacks, wear sun protective gear, long pants, and sturdy shoes for walking across uneven terrain, and be comfortable hiking short distances. Seed collection equipment, snake gaiters, and blaze orange safety vests will be provided.

Farm Party!
BRN Seed Barn

Come celebrate our recent farm acquisition!
We’ll be celebrating the Borderlands Restoration Farm and dancing the night away in the BRN Seed Barn in Patagonia. BYOB and snacks to share. DJ sets and music throughout the evening.
